CAN WE CLOSE THE DOOR ON LIAR LANCE, NOW?.. And keep it shut?

I know this article is a little late but I started writing it a couple of months ago and added to it a couple of days ago, when I came across the  The March 2013 issue of Texas Monthly with our fallen hero, of late -Cheater and liar extraordinaire, Lance Armstrong, on the cover.  I pick it up to read it.. with disgust.  My very next thought was, he's no better than Susan Smith the baby killer.  Remember her? -- The mother in South Carolina back in 1994, whose two little boys while latched into their car seats met their demise when their own mother rolled the car into a river?  She murdered those babies a day before my own baby turned a year old.. And as cold as an ice cube, she made the morning talk show rounds with her innocent husband- pleading to a black man that she concocted, to bring back her kidnapped children.  Lying to the world in that whimpering drawl of hers, knowing full well they were dead, and she'd done it.  Baby killer Susan; Cheater liar Lance.. same breath. Same evil.

I didn't watch Oprah use her special powers on him.  Too angry to see him gain benefit or sympathy after using my precious free will of trust on the likes of him for so many years.  I trusted him.  Not because he's a fellow Texan. Nor because he was particularly attractive as some women have felt.  I never thought that he was attractive.. But I trusted him because.. when ever he denied the accusations of doping he was basically looking me in the eye and saying.. "Trust me,"  just like baby killer Susan Smith did.  And I made a conscious decision that I would - because he was a world class athlete asking me to.  What a joke that turned out to be.  But I knew Susan Smith was lying right off the bat.  Even a new mother knows these things.

And now, Lance is at the top of my s-h-i-t list of liars -that are not redemption worthy... My ex has been moved down a notch, thanks to Lance.

Now, what you really should know is, I'm usually an advocate for the general purpose (GP) liar.  Everyday people tend to lie because they feel they need to in certain instances.  Except for a lady I worked with recently.. She lied on a daily basis about something, just for the hell of it.. For some attention, I've supposed, she didn't even deserve, and would never get from me.  I don't know what she meant to others in the office, but I began to let them all know, that I didn't believe a word she said.  But for the most part, GP liars, they're afraid of what the truth will do to their lives or lifestyle or reputation, so lying for them was a 'c-y-a' thing.  Don't want to go to jail for a bag of weed?  Lie and say it's not yours.  Or, you've got to face the nation for having oral sex in the oval office with someone who isn't your wife?  Lie and say you didn't.  Or avoid messing up a wonderful friendship over something petty?  Tell a little white lie.  It's a matter of survival.  I get that!  Murderers like Susan Smith lie because, well... they're murderers. And she should not have had a fair trial, like many a black man in South Carolina never had - back in the day.  Like the one the cops were looking for on her behalf, might not have gotten.  Why didn't they just lynch her and hang by the neck 'til she was dead?  Lance Armstrong had many of us believing in him for years, like the world believed Susan Smith for a hot minute!  Giving him the benefit of the doubt just the same, all while he continued cheating.. and lying.  Not a GP liar, but a BOLD FACE EFFING cheating liar who should spend some time in jail like Susan Smith, if not for cheating, then for murdering our trust with that big hairy ass lie he told! 

And you know what else?   I turned on the television today and the top story in Dallas is all about the never ending drama between Deion Sanders and his wife Pilaf.. Or Pilar or -whatever her name is.  Deion might be shaking in his cleats now, as their stale and unworthy public child custody battle, he's being accused of doping.  Lordy!  It's probably not true.  After all, she's got to be on a mission to destroy his reputation. Sadly at the expense of the children. Bad mother! (shaking my head) Whether it's true or not, I just don't want to turn on the t.v. again and have him looking me in the eye for months on end lying about it.  Spare us, Deion!  Pa-leeze!?

Athletes are entertainers.. So, Lance your 15 minutes of fame are up!  

The above photo & tweet says it all.. of the Sniveling, Lying, Cheating Little Wretch: Lance Armstrong who doesn't deserve any more coverage or redemption or forgiveness to compete on any level ever again.    Let's forget him and hopefully he'll disappear to where OJ Simpson disappeared to.  Where is OJ Simpson, anyway?
